Why has Firefox gotten so terrible with streaming media?

i refuse to quit using Firefox, but it's getting more and more difficult as the browser continues to struggle with things like media streaming.

This is considered a "basic" feature these days, and i experience constant lockups and track jumps because the stream suddenly stops.

So far i've seen it on YouTube Music, Tidal, Band Camp, and a couple others.

Hello Mozilla Community,

I totally get your frustration—Firefox used to be rock solid, but streaming issues like sudden stops, lockups, and track jumps are becoming way too common, especially on platforms like YouTube Music, Tidal, and Bandcamp. It's tough when something as basic as media playback becomes unreliable. I still stick with Firefox too, but when it really gets in the way of enjoying content, I’ve started using Magis TV as a solid alternative for smooth, free streaming. It’s worth checking out if you want a hassle-free experience—just visit their site and download the app.

Thanks and Appreciated!!
