Mozilla writes on its blog that it will not be able to support the Gecko engine if it does not recei.... I think Mozilla is telling the truth, I believe Mozilla.
So Mozilla will soon go bankrupt.
Then why doesn’t Mozilla get rid of useless departments or projects?
Its own AI project requires a lot of money. The Chinese from deepseek invested $7 million, it seems, but they stole everything they could and cut corners wherever they could. Usually, a native AI project costs tens of millions of dollars and requires an expensive server park with expensive Nvidia video cards.
Why wouldn’t Mozilla get rid of its own AI project? It will save tens of millions of dollars. If you don’t increase the CEO’s salary, you can spend it on supporting the Gecko engine.
And if you get rid of everything except the Gecko engine, you can survive normally on donations. You just need to release useless departments.
Why doesn't Mozilla try to identify which departments are useless? Why isn't Mozilla going to cut costs?
