Why are there so-many obvious spam posts on this site that seemingly never get removed?
There are so-many "how do we recover from a PST" that exist only to advertise a product they link to, for example. But other posts advertising movie download sites, SEO optimisations and even buying crypto!
Do the moderation team here, or any AI agent they use to monitor posts, never find these or something?

With the way things have been going with spam like this, and with the obvious hallmarks of ai writing in the video announcing the new ui today, I'm genuinely left to wonder if any humans are actually working at mozilla anymore. Like, they still have the posts for the world cup (that ended like two months ago) widget and the survey (that they closed a day after posting- over a month ago) still pinned. The lights might be on, but there are indicators no one is home.

I fully agree. I see a few of my posts suffering with this indignation, where someone agrees , then puts an irrelevant link in their reply, advertising the site they are advertising, or running , developing etc. I have tried to bring @Jon into this conversation, but had no responses so far.

Maybe they are paying Mozilla to be able to promote stuff here?
If that were the case (lawyers: not saying it definitely is!), then in many Western countries and some US states, they'd be required to put "[PAID]" or "[SPONSORED]" in the title of such posts

Another example:
https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/discussions/website-not-loading-in-firefox/td-p/100978
Someone pretending to have an issue with a website not loading in Firefox, purely to advertise that site. But then around eight of the replies are all just similar replies, advertising their own websites.
Such a waste of time the Mozilla team allow this
