I have been blocked by Google and You Tube and I cannot log into my bank or my credit card accounts.   There is a question of IP address which is Optimum and I wonder what is the connect to all of these companies?   Firefox changed its browser without my knowing and I lost all my bookmarks.   had to log into my accounts and change passwords.  now I can't log into my accounts. Firefox screwed me bad and Google and Optimum seemed to help or are supporting my block.  What is going on?   tb

~ weird ~ isnt it?, banking does not work in M FF anymore for years so using MS Edge instead, but one thing since using FF all the time, have added pseudo addon plugins for other functions, not Egde, so it may be a third party add-on thats blocking services, which in one aspect is good, so scamming skimmers dont hack renderings, but does mean using other secure utilities, that accept firewalls and anti ware,

~problem? cause of consistant errors got locked out and had to go to the bank to reset, problem? had to wait till bank was open,  ... next day, only to figure out it was browser FF, not user account or psswrd's

It sounds frustrating, but this usually isn’t one single company blocking you. When access to banking or credit card accounts suddenly stops, it’s often due to security triggers—like a changed IP address, browser update, or certain extensions interfering with login sessions. Banks are very strict with security, so even small changes can flag your access as unusual.

In your case, Firefox updating might have reset permissions, disabled cookies, or conflicted with add-ons. I’d try clearing cache, disabling extensions, or logging in through another browser like Edge or Chrome. If it works there, then it’s most likely a browser issue rather than your account being blocked.

I ran into something similar while using my FAB (First Abu Dhabi Bank) account, and it turned out not to be the bank at all but the browser setup. Since then, I keep things simple and sometimes use https://fbbalancecheck.ae/ as a quick, lightweight way to check things. The site is actually really well put together—clean design, fast loading, and very straightforward to use without unnecessary clutter—which makes it helpful when you just want to confirm your account access without dealing with complicated interfaces.

It’s small things like that which make troubleshooting easier when you’re not sure where the issue is coming from.

Hey,

It looks like your accounts were blocked because your Optimum IP address may have triggered security alerts. The recent Firefox update caused your bookmarks and saved logins to be lost, which led to password changes, and now you’re having trouble accessing your accounts. The best approach is to check your IP with Optimum, ensure your accounts have updated passwords and two-factor authentication, and reach out to Google, YouTube, and your bank for help restoring access.
