What just happened to "Send to Device"? All I see now is "Send to Mobile" ...

Hi, until recently I was able to send tabs easily via the context menu (almost) anywhere within a loaded website. Now today for the first time I get "Send to Mobile" with literally only my Android (devices/profiles) showing up and the option "Send to All Devices".

What happened to the useful previous version of this feature? How can I get it back?

Even via the sandwich menu I only have the option to send to mobile devices or all.

Thanks in advance for any insights on how to get this functionality back. I am missing it after mere minutes, because I really don't want to send to all devices in order to share anything with non-mobile devices.

PS: it's Firefox 151.0.2 (64-bit) on Manjaro where I encountered this first.

Adjusting the about:config options services.sync.clients.devices.desktop and services.sync.clients.devices.mobile didn't help either. I set both to five. They were set to 1 and 5 respectively before.

similar issue, my computer has been fine, however starting about a week ago Firefox nightly on my phone has replaced the share dialogue with the native android one, and while I appreciate the sentiment it means there is literally no way to send a tab to my computer anymore...  my current workaround is to switch to the regular Firefox 😛

Any idea where to report this? I checked in Mozilla's Bugzilla, but didn't find any recent mentions of this changing.

I've no clue unfortunately 😞  I hope Mozilla trawls this forum and it gets fixed because this is a Major regression

What makes this even weirder now: I have two profiles and one profile has still "Send to Device" while the other has "Send to Mobile".

The good part about it is that it may just be a setting switch to flip somewhere. Will report back if that turns out to be the case.

I am a FF user for more than 15 years now (maybe 20+ years) and I use Firefox as a primary browser on all my devices. Two Macbooks, Windows laptop, Android phone.... One of the best features to me is the "Send Tab to Device" option. it gives me flexibility to migrate quickly my focus on another device. With that "Send to Mobile" update in-practice Mozilla robbed me of that connectivity between my laptops. Why are Mozilla devs trying so hard to repel me of my favorite browser. It was already pretty anointing to me the change in the Search field functionality (I guess, it was a privacy thing, but from writing a keyword and single click to search it went to three clicks to perform a search). And now this... You are practicing an UX assault to your long-term users.
