Walk total newby through reducing space between rows of bookmarks on Firefox Home Page (Version 134.0.1)

Google, git hub, Mozilla search results are spotty.  Please, someone walk a total newbie through the steps that would allow me to reduce the excessive space between rows of favorites on my Firefox home page.  I have my home page options for the maximum number of rows -  4.  That is sufficient for now.  I can get all of my favorite links pinned.   However, the last row is not visible without scrolling.   Thank you huge, in advance, for your help and support.  I will do my very best to follow your step by step instructions!

I am not sure, exactly.  Here is a screen shot of what my Firefox home page looks like.  I made arrow-like makes where I want to close space, if possible.
