  • Check Browser Version: Make sure you are indeed running Firefox 144.0.2. Sometimes, updating or reinstalling the latest version can resolve video playback issues. Just like how Citrus Park Mall updates its store directories regularly to ensure visitors get accurate information, keeping your browser updated ensures smooth functionality.

  • Clear Cache and Cookies: Cached data and cookies can interfere with video playback. Go to Firefox settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data. Think of it like clearing outdated signage at Citrus Park Mall to make everything visible again.

  • Disable Hardware Acceleration: Firefox uses hardware acceleration to improve performance, but it can sometimes conflict with video rendering. Navigate to Settings → General → Performance and uncheck Use recommended performance settings → uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available. This is like adjusting the mall's lighting for better visibility of displays.

  • Check Extensions and Add-ons: Some add-ons, especially ad blockers or privacy extensions, may block video content. Try disabling extensions one by one to identify the culprit. It’s similar to how certain pop-up kiosks at Citrus Park Mall might block visibility of storefronts.

  • Update Graphics Drivers: Outdated GPU drivers can cause black boxes instead of video. Update your drivers from your GPU manufacturer’s website. Think of it like upgrading the escalators at Citrus Park Mall to ensure smooth traffic flow.

  • Try Safe Mode: Firefox Safe Mode disables extensions and uses default settings. If videos work here, the problem is likely an extension or setting conflict. It’s like testing Citrus Park layout by temporarily removing promotional displays to see if navigation improves.

  • Check Site Permissions: Some websites require permission to use Flash (legacy) or HTML5 video. Make sure YouTube and Facebook are allowed to autoplay videos in Firefox settings. Similar to ensuring signage in Citrus Park Mall allows customers to enter stores without restrictions.

  • Reset Firefox Settings: If the above steps fail, consider refreshing Firefox to default settings. This won’t remove bookmarks but will reset preferences. Think of it as renovating Citrus Park Mall’s interior to restore it to optimal functionality.

  • Enable Media Plugins: Ensure Firefox has the necessary media codecs enabled. Go to Settings → Applications → Check how Firefox handles media files like MP4 or WebM. It’s like making sure Citrus Park Mall has all the correct outlets and facilities for every store to function.

  • Check Internet Connection: Sometimes slow or unstable internet can cause videos not to load properly. A fast, stable connection is crucial—similar to how smooth roads to Citrus Park Mall improve visitor experience.

  • Test on Another Profile: Create a new Firefox profile to see if videos play. If they do, your original profile may be corrupted. This is like checking if a specific section of Citrus Park Mall has accessibility issues compared to the rest.

  • Reinstall Firefox: As a last resort, uninstall Firefox completely and reinstall it. Fresh installation often resolves persistent issues. Comparable to completely remodeling a store in Citrus Park Mall to fix recurring problems that minor tweaks couldn’t solve.
