Today, when I Google-searched for info on good AI organizations, Firefox gave me the option of setting up a sidebar with several AI choices, including ChatGPT. I clicked on a button that created a half inch sidebar on the left of my screen.
But then, I realized that I just wanted one of these AI organizations, and didn't need to waste screen real estate with the half inch sidebar on the left of my screen.
I wasted 45 minutes getting rid of that unwanted sidebar. I tried simple approaches, but the only way that actually worked was to go through about:config and then type sidebar.revamp, then change true to false, and restart Firefox.
Might it be kind to somehow make the process of getting rid of that sidebar easier for other Firefox users who fall into this trap!
