Thunderbird: is it possible to add option to repeat events by number of hours, days, weeks, months.

I have migrated away from outlook as the new version does not do what I want and is locked into 365.

I am missing the options of setting the repeat time for an event in number of days, weeks, months etc.

Is it possible for this to be added and if so is a there a guide that would help me do that?

If you don't see it, then it doesn't exist and would have to be added to the base code. You should post the idea at https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/idb-p/ideas.

If you create an event in Thunderbird calendar, you get plenty of options for repeating the event. See attached screenshots...

Maybe that helps?
