The way Firefox updates all the time is annoying - and I reevaluate if I can keep it as default on my Terminalservers

I use and endorse Firefox for me, and for the users in the companies we support. I used to have the ers Versions, but had to switch to the "normal" updating Firefox, so that other browserbased software would run without problems.

 But.

The frequncy of the updates is too high, and the quality is not always good. This will kill Firefox faster than any of the other problems it faces today.

I'm not a regular user of Firefox or the internet I guess as I'm not online every day however it feels like every time I use it, Firefox wants me to update it - as much as once a week possibly? Frustrating and worrying if software needs to be updated so often!

um, depends on the update. browsers are a live service, security updates is always a need for, although some updates might be a tug of war, where a update might fix or solve one thing but break another, and that having the version before that might just be better.

I do support having firefox to be less annoying or spamming the "Hey, UPDATE me!", as it can be annoying how frequent it does it and if it's an update I dont care about.

Such frequent updates are also indicative of buggy software! Firefox will push its users away if it does not reduce the frequency of daily updates - Windows 11 has already committed similar harakiri by pushing its will on its long time retail and corporate users!

Hello

Perhaps you could clarify your version of Firefox you are using.

Note : Firefox Nightly gets updated every day.

I am using version 149.0 64 bit.
