I got a new computer. Installed firefox, signed into my firefox account, my extensions, passwords and bookmarks carried over. Great!
The new tab pinned shortcuts didn't. You know, that page you get when you open a new tab but before you go anywhere it's a blank screen with a bunch of shortcuts. That's fine, I'll just pin the tabs on the new computer.
But for some reason, the shortcuts on the old computer got jumbled up. Now I have to fix the new tab shortcuts on the old computer too. So it seems it does try to sync it, but it's doing it backwards. It should sync from old to new, not new to old. The new one doesn't have anything set up yet, and now its just broken the pins I had on the old one. Or don't sync it at all.
I noticed the settings in one of my extensions(noscript) also synced backwards. I whitelisted sites on my old computer and now all those whitelists are gone. Why can't it recognize the one with data or the older one is the one I keep or if there's a conflict, ask me which to keep. Y'know how steam cloud saves have a warning if you have 2 different saves and it asks which you want to keep? Do it like that.
