Hi Firefox team,
I'd like to request support for the Figma browser extension on Firefox. Right now the extension (the one that lets you capture webpages and bring them into Figma as editable layers) is only available for Chrome and Chromium-based browsers.
I use Firefox as my main browser, and this feature would be genuinely useful for my workflow. It's the kind of thing that would make Firefox a more viable option for designers who currently switch to Chrome just for this.
Here's the Chrome extension for reference: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/figma/fkmaohpngenfoccdgceedjkfhkdcohmg
I understand this may ultimately depend on Figma building for the Firefox WebExtensions API, but I wanted to flag the demand here in case Mozilla can help push for it or has any existing plans in this direction.
Would appreciate any visibility into whether this is on the radar.

We use Figma internally here at Firefox too and would love this extension to join our platform!
Unfortunately it would be up to them to convert their extension to work on Firefox. Perhaps raise this on their feedback site, and if they need help converting it they're more than welcome to look me up and I'll do what I can to assist!

Thanks for the response! I really appreciate the clarification and the willingness to help.
I’ll definitely pass the request along through the Figma feedback/support channels and mention that Firefox support is important for my workflow. Hopefully, if enough Firefox users request it, Figma can consider adding support for Firefox.
Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!
