Stop updating Firefox

Firefox literally asks to be updated a few times per week. I don't care if you say you only roll out updates once every six weeks or whatever. This is my experience and you are ruining a great product. To update for updates sake is foolish and unnecessary. It's not "keeping up with technology". I may become an ex-Firefox user soon.

I'd rather have updates appear, knowing that security patches are usually applied. Although a few times a week sounds like you're using the beta channel, which gets updates three times per week, otherwise I usually get a version update every 4 weeks along with a point release about halfway through.

I recommend getting the stable channel in this case.

the reply above says it all; if something is broken (especially with a browser) then it is better to get the fix ASAP

as a consolation, there does appear to be a regular release cadence
