No one wants this. You're getting ratio'd on your own post on your own forum. You are actively destroying the YEARS of trust your company has built with its userbase in one fell swoop.

Many of us jumped ship from chrome to come to Firefox because you USED to put your users forward, but your new CEO is antithetical to that. Anthony is a greedy moron who wants to make some quick cash on a tech bubble via your company.

Anthony is not fit for the job. He will destroy Mozilla when you're already struggling to stay relevant in the current economy. Investing in a bubble that your userbase hates will make that WORSE, not better. Fire Anthony. You don't need a CEO at all, honestly. If your board is strong and cohesive enough that they can fire the CEO they can manage everything else with ease.

This kind of reaction really shows how deep the frustration runs when users feel unheard. Losing community trust isn’t about a single decision—it’s about a pattern of ignoring feedback and pushing changes without meaningful dialogue. When a platform’s own users are openly pushing back like this, it’s a clear signal that leadership needs to pause, listen, and rebuild transparency. Discussions around digital trust, online communities, and responsible platform decisions are explored further at KURONAMI
