Currently, there seems to be a triggering issue with the auto-expansion of vertical tabs. When the vertical tab bar is moved to the right side and the settings page is open, the tabs automatically expand even when the mouse is outside the designated trigger area.
When the vertical tab bar is on the left, the close button is too small, making it easy for the mouse cursor to accidentally move outside the tab area. This causes the vertical tab bar to expand and then immediately collapse again—an issue that significantly degrades the user experience. For comparison, Microsoft Edge doesn’t automatically collapse the tab bar immediately after a brief mouse exit.Possible improvements could include:Moving the close button closer to the window edge to reduce accidental exits, or Adding a double-click-to-close-tab gesture for better usability.
