Smaller updates are better updates

Current state: Every week is a 63 MB or so update.  That's (size wise) an entirely new installation every week.  Something is seriously wrong with your delivery chain and the way updates are integrated into the installed software.

Much better state: Only the parts which change, and the configuration, get disseminated and added.

Don't get all defensive.  Just consider it.

In my experience under Windows and Linux updates usually are 3-8 MB in size. If you're referring to the mobile version: don't think it's possible with android. Just because of the way applications are installed in Android.

I am new here but a point mentioned but not discussed is Why is Thunderbird needing a major download/update every week or two?
