Hi all,
Firts post here so if I'm in the wrong place please forgive me.
My problem is that when trying to access some websites I have a pop-up security alert message telling me:
"Exercise caution; there appears to be a problem. Firefox has detected a potentially serious security issue with XXXXX.XX Someone impersonating the site could attempt to steal information such as credit card details, passwords, or email addresses."
"XXXXX.XX uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS); a secure connection is required to access it. You cannot add an exception to visit this site."
But I can access those websites without any security alert if I use a VPN (I haven't tried with Mozilla VPN).
Why the use of a VPN dissmiss the security alert?
Are those security alerts geolocated and appears only on websites banned in some countries to make people think there's a threat when in fact there's none?
Thanks in advance
