Mr. Mozilla Firefox Team,
We appreciate Firefox's open source and user-oriented approach. However, there are some limitations on issues such as local file access and dynamic content uploading, especially for developers. These limitations can make it difficult for developers to prefer Firefox. Therefore, we ask you to take into account the following recommendations:
Developer Mode or Plugin: Developing a secure developer mode or plugin that allows for local file access. This mode can only access the files that the user expressly allows.
Integrated Local Server: A simple local server feature integrated into Firefox. This feature can eliminate the need for developers to set up local servers.
Secure and Controlled Access: Secure and controlled provision of local file access. For example, it is allowed to choose which files users will allow access.
Supporting the Developer Community: Prioritizing such features by receiving feedback from the Developer community.
These recommendations can make Firefox a more attractive platform for developers and help it get a huge advantage over its competitors.
Regrettfully,
Abdullah Kutlu
