I just reinstalled Firefox version 141.0 64-bit US browser. When I installed the Rakuten Cashback extension, it did not work. I then noticed the extension added was the Canada version. I thought I had downloaded the wrong Firefox build, which prompted me to remove the browser completely. Making sure that this time the Firefox version I was downloading was the U.S. version, I reinstalled a second time. During the settings process of the browser, I found that the Rakuten extension available is only the Canada and the France versions. What happened with the U.S. version? This will force me to use my other browsers which have the extension for shopping.

I asked their tech support about it and all I got back was 'we're working on it'. That was a couple of weeks ago. I'll try to follow up with them again. They also said "shop directly through the Rakuten mobile app or Rakuten.com." as a workaround.

"You can try installing it directly from Rakuten’s official site"
Yes, you can try all day long, because the link for it goes to the Firefox Add-ons store 🙂
The only options for now are shop directly through the Rakuten mobile app or Rakuten.com or as you mentioned, use a non-FF-based browser.

The latest from Rakuten support:
"Thank you for contacting our team. Currently, our extension for Mozilla Firefox is unavailable. We are working with Mozilla to get our extension listed back in the Firefox Browser Add-Ons site. For now, it will remain unavailable for download and installation until this is fixed. We do not have a timeframe currently as to when it will be listed again.
Our extension remains available for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Safari. You can also shop and use our services by going through our website, Rakuten.com, directly as well."

Interesting point, the extension being region-restricted feels limiting. It’s always good when communities share feedback like this. Alongside gaming updates from Chicken Road, I think threads like this are valuable for everyday users.
