Hello Firefox team, I hope you're doing well. (Apologies in advance for my English; I am French, so I am using Google Translate).
Since your major update, the "Edit" function for shortcuts no longer works as it used to.
Before the update, when I clicked "Edit," I could change the site URL and click "Save," and the shortcut would update correctly without creating a new one.
Now, however, when I click "Save," the original shortcut remains unchanged, and a new shortcut is created instead of modifying the old one. Consequently, I constantly have to delete the old shortcut and move the new one to the spot where the old one used to be.
So, instead of performing a single action, I have to do three: save, delete, and move.
On top of that, since I only use 2 out of the 4 shortcut bars, the new shortcut automatically opens the 3rd bar; consequently, I constantly have to go in and change it back to 2 bars instead of 3.
So, it’s not just three actions I have to perform instead of one — it’s four actions instead of the single one required before the update.
And yes, I am definitely clicking the "Edit" option, not "Add new shortcut." I have also disabled all my extensions to see if they were the cause of the problem.
Could you please revert the "Edit" option to the way it was before—modifying the existing URL instead of adding a new shortcut?
Thank you very much in advance.
