"AI Future"

Making moves

Really disappointed in firefox, this push for AI to me shows a turn away from Mozilla's own Manifesto,

As Mozilla claims "Commercial involvement in the development of the internet brings many benefits; a balance between commercial profit and public benefit is critical." By adding AI. A technology known for using obscene amounts of water, electricity, who's data centers are leading to grid issues where they are, which plagiarize from artist. And yet here Mozilla is, pushing it yet again, and trying to say it wants to be the most trusted.

You're not, and Mozilla seems to be hell bent on ruining what goodwill it's built for years. I've cancelled my VPN subscription, I will be looking for a new browser, how utterly disappointing, after using Firefox for two decades, to see it choose to continue to push such damaging tech like this.
