PWA's dont work in current form

The current implementation of firefox's progressive web apps does not meet my expectations. De goal of PWA's in my opinion is to appear and function as a regular application, in their current form firefox does not accomplish this. They have a huge adress bar wich should not be part of an app, and the title bar color does not change with content, like chrome's PWA's, this makes the app blend seemlessly into the OS.

Yeah, I have noticed the same thing. I don't have a problem with the Address bar, but the way Firefox currently implements PWAs, they are actually shortcuts to websites, not PWAs; They first open Firefox, a tab inside Firefox, and then visit the site and display it like a separate bespoke app with a URl bar.

I don't dislike the URl bar, although an option to not show it would be nice.

I would prefer PWAs the way Chromium based browsers implement it, with some of the code and data actually working and being stored offline.
