Please make the new toolbar on Android optional

The toolbar that's now on the bottom is quite useless and takes up too much space. (The fact that it hides when scrolling does not help). I've switched away from the beta channel to stable to get rid of it, please don't let it make it to the stable channel without an option to disable it and go back to a single toolbar

  • The new toolbar on Android has introduced some exciting features, but it should be made optional for users who prefer a more minimalist interface.

  • Providing the option to disable or customize the toolbar would enhance user control and experience, catering to both new and seasoned users.

  • Just like Wink Pro, which offers additional features to enhance the user experience, the new toolbar can be customized based on user preferences.

  • Giving users the ability to choose between the new toolbar or the classic interface would improve accessibility and overall satisfaction.

  • Some users prefer a clean and simple interface, similar to how Wink Pro provides a streamlined experience without unnecessary distractions.

  • An optional toolbar would also allow users to optimize their device’s performance, as those who don’t need the new features can avoid potential resource use.

  • Similar to how Wink Pro unlocks advanced features without cluttering the interface, an optional toolbar would help users maintain their preferred design.

  • Users could toggle the new toolbar on or off through device settings, just like selecting a theme or interface layout, ensuring flexibility.

  • This option would cater to both minimalist users who prefer a simple design and those who enjoy the added functionality of the new toolbar.

  • Offering this choice would align with the customizable nature of many Android apps, enhancing user personalization and comfort.

  • The feature could also be ideal for users who value faster performance, as removing the toolbar could reduce background activity.

  • Ultimately, making the new toolbar optional would give Android users the best of both worlds, just like Wink Pro, balancing functionality with personal preference.
