Pin Tabs

Problem: In one session, I pin a tab. I open another session. I close the one that already has a pinned page. I close the last session, which doesn't have any pinned tabs. In this order.
My pinned page disappears.

I'm similar, which sounds like the same behaviour. If I have Firefox closed, and then open a "tab added to taskbar", that opens as expected. However, a link to another website opens full Firefox, as expected. However, Firefox has now lost any pinned tabs which otherwise are designed to survive closure of the browser. They do not return.
