I have been having the same issues as above, even after reinstalling per FAQ recommendation. turned off all the add-ins i had (5) and it crashed in the middle of that, but 2 tries and they were off. same for cleaning cache. had to try three separate times very quickly after starting the program, before i could get those to clear. Once off and clear, a second install of FF seemed to finally solve the problem. i have turned my add-ins back on and <knock wood> things finally seem stable.
