The new menus UI makes navigating to extensions a convoluted process. Please give the option to have the old UI or pin items. The new UI also feels blocky and bloated. It shouldn't cover my whole screen to do basic tasks. The sidebar style was much more modern and usable feeling. Otherwise give a minimized/sidebar toggle, please.
My daily workflow is completely ruined with the new menu UI. I will be looking at alternate browsers if this isn't rectified.

This is absolutely correct. The new UI is also less ergonomic. One has to move and reposition the hands with the menu coming from the button than originally from the side.

I completely agree. In fact, I have made an account on this service just to comment on this issue. The new menu is awful, counter-intuitive, and breaks years of muscle memory. The placements seem to have been chosen at random and priorize bizarre options. It also has a slight opening delay and animation that makes it much slower to operate. On top of that, it requires two hands to use if you use a larger phone. I have reversed it for now using developer options, but if it becomes compulsory I'll look into transitioning to other browsers.

i don't think i'm quite at the point of thinking of changing browsers; but the new android menu UI does seem very... not user friendly to speak politely. the buttons in that menu that i use most often are "back" and "refresh" 90% of the time when i open that menu it's for one of those 2.
the current design of the menu seems to prioritize the settings and profile buttons; by placing them very close to where the button to open the menu is. having to reach 2/3rds of the way across the screen to reach what i considered to be core functionality of that menu is baffling to me; but maybe you have user data that indicates those buttons arn't used as often as i tend to use them.
honestly looking at the design of it it feels like it was intended for it to open partially; maybe only up to the "desktop site" toggle with the option to open it further?
overall it seems like a very strange change to me.

Frankly this change is much less ergonomic and is an issue for accessibility for those with repetitive motion injuries and may in fact, cause them. Previously, to refresh the page, you could tap the three dot menu and the refresh was almost in the same location, so little finger motion was required. Now, either using the pull down to refresh, or the three dots, it is necessary to move your thumb or other finger some distance to refresh. Please provide an option to restore the previous configuration, possibly in the accessibility menu.

I'd be interested to know what problem the new UI is trying to solve. I do like the extension drop down, that being a drawer is nice. But this is a very significant change to something that works well. if it's just visual modernization maybe there's a less drastic approach?
