Today, it took me 2 hours to update my Mozilla password and install 2-step verification. I had to go via a Google app authentication process (a world of pain in itself). Installing that app was the easy part.
As Mozilla, in its wisdom, does not provide any phone support, and FAQ's and Chatbot (what Chatbot?) are useless, I thought I would try calling Apple support.
A kind Apple call centre employee took me through the process of installing Mozilla on my iPhone and pairing it with my Mac Pro, with the authentication protocols.
Mozilla will now become my second or third browser choice. It is reprehensible for Mozilla to discriminate against non-native browser users. It touts itself as user-friendly. My experience shows otherwise.
