Hey all,
Happy March and welcome to another edition of our Monthly Recap—not to be confused with our Weekly Recap (which we publish every Friday).
This post will highlight the top 15 most-voted ideas for the previous month. While some are ‘new ideas’ and others may already be ‘in development’ (learn more about The Idea Journey here), we encourage you to continue voting and sharing your feedback—the more details, the better. Our teams are regularly looking at ideas and threads here as they plan and prioritize future roadmaps.
Without further ado, here they are…
Put the AI stuff into an optional add-on
Synced WORK SPACES (or Synced Tab Groups)
Bring back PWA (progressive web apps)
Thunderbird Recent Destinations List should be alphabetical
Let the AI model Firefox uses be directed to a local LLM server.
Multi-Account Containers for Android
Add a button to swap Translate languages
Firefox should suspend tabs to better performance
Dark theme for mozilla.org and addons.mozilla.org
Add Startpage private search as option
And that's it for the month of February.

Honestly, I think I would be happy with no features added or changed if instead Firefox would work stably and without having tabs chrashing every few minutes or crashing as whole quite frequently.
I think Firefox is really essential as almost the only true alternative to chrome based browser, but stability and proper QA before distribution is the number one "feature" most users expect.

I look forward to Mozilla acknowledging the most requested feature: no more AI features.

Great to see these top-voted ideas in the February recap! It’s really encouraging to see how the community's feedback is shaping the future of the browser. Looking forward to seeing which of these features make it into the next stable release. Keep up the good work!
