I had firefox update yesterday which I did not expect but more important to me is that after it was done, all my tabs, and my settings were all missing, I have spent the better part of the last 24 hours trying to regain what the update caused me to loose. Normally I am able to use the history feature and "restore previous session" but that did not work yesterday.
The loss was extreme enough that I have needed to find and reinstall extensions, thank goodness I had a exported bookmark file from last month.
Why is this problem allowed to be ok as part of an update?
