I have been a Firefox user for over 20 years (I am not even kidding, I had my first PC at 8 and I am 30 and I used Firefox from the beginning. I am one of those annoying "recommends Firefox to everyone" users. I paid for Relay. I considered paying for Mullvad but ultimately it wasn't worth it price-wise. If you know me I have 100% either recommended Firefox to you or you already use it.
I hate AI slop. I understand Firefox does need to be up to date with technology even if it's tech that is being forced down everyone's throats. BUT. This can be in the shape of tools to increase your privacy and your defenses AGAINST forcibly-incorporated AI. We already block ads, why not work on blocking AI, hell, I'll even drop a couple coins into it if I have to.
I will drop Firefox fast if they continue going the pro-AI direction, but for now I hope users can make some noise so Mozilla can rethink their stance.
