SOOOOOoooo often, I copy a link or text from elsewhere (typically Edge on HP laptop), go over to Thunderbird to send that to someone, and Thunderbird has erased (or is unable to access) the copied material. I have to return to the desired information in the browser, which is sometimes no longer available, and start the process over again. PLEASE consider fixing this. Thank you from a long time, supporting user who otherwise loves Thunderbird.

I have moved this from idea to discussion, because problems or bugs are not "ideas". Actually, these are best posted at support https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/thunderbird. If you can still reproduce the problem in Help > Troubleshoot Mode, then please post a question at support.
