It is a required common practice to let a user's browser color selections to be used by websites that allow it. Not everyone enjoys looking a "forced white background color" or some other "light color" for that matter, specially w/ all of the millions of colors available to use. Without this feature, potentially billions of users are at a disadvantage. Firefox was working perfectly fine before this update.

This change in the colour settings is very bad for us. They removed our ability to set the default background colour. This setting was available since the beginning of Firefox, since Netscape.
Now, when the background colour isn’t specified in the page attributes or style they are presented with a white background. This change left us only with the alternative to change the background of all pages, not only the unspecified.
