Kudos! Comcast to Yahoo server switch easier in Thunderbird 146b02

I just wanted to say thank you and well done. I received an email stating Comcast is going to be using Yahoo servers for email, calendar, contacts. So, off I went to change the account settings, in Thunderbird I simply changed the IMAP and SMTP addresses and switched to Auth2. Bingo bango all done. I use eM Client on a second PC and attempted the same modification. No go. I had to delete the account and readd it but using the Yahoo server selection (baked in to the client and now counterintuitive) it didn't take me long of course, but it made the ease at which Thunderbird handle it appreciate it more.

Hi, I'm in the middle of doing the same but TB keeps giving a login to server ... failed. I cannot figure out what's wrong. I changed the IMAP and SMTP addresses but did not switch to Auth2. Not sure what that is. TIA for any help.

Edited to add:  Thank you!  I poked around and found Auth2 and I think it worked.

Edit #2: None of my folders are in TB. They are archived on yahoo web, but not in TB. How do I get them in TB? TIA, again for any help.

I found that Comcast didn't transfer the folders to Yahoo, unfortunately.

Hi, Thanks for sharing that. That is horrible!

A few hours after my email began working in TB I got an email from Yahoo telling me not to make any new folders for a week as they would be syncing folders over that time. It'd would have been nice to have had that info upfront before the migration, in all their 'what to expect' FAQ's. Sheesh I was going crazy trying to figure out how to get my folders/messages to TB. 

This morning TB is being populated with my folders. Crossing my fingers.
