Jan-14-26, Android update

Making moves

Most recent Android update changed the organization of menus to match the iPhone menu's.

The previous build of menu's, while not perfect, allowed the app to be navigated almost entirely in the top right quadrant of my phone. With 1 finger. Fast.

The new updates iPhone mapped organization requires constant reaching from the top of the screen to the bottom, left and right side.

This menu change is unoptimized, wasting seconds of user time that will mount over time.

I, personally, will be seeking another browser for my phone if a more optimized option for the menu is not offered.

Because I hate nothing more than design changes that are, quite literally, a waste of my time.

Good ui design follows basic principles.

A kebab menu in the top right corner of the screen, logically and intuitively, should open it's menu dropping down and left from the top of the screen. (Not rising from the bottom, as this lacks connectivity.)

For cleanliness, Ui should be clustered towards one side/corner of the screen. this optimizes user experience by reducing time wasted reaching. (I.e. not having new tab openings on the bottom of the screen, when to open the tab menu you need to hit a box widget at the top of the screen.)

Menu's should have minimal nestings to minimize confusion and avoid creating digital labyrinths.

Etc.
