Did you mean:

is mozilla going trashed?

Schwand
Making moves

I'm new here, since i never had the need to ask for anything. I use mozilla tools since it startet as Netscape in the early 90es. But i think Mozilla is loosing the focus to it's users.

My impression to this started when I saw the page i am presented when i looked for help from Thunderbird; because even if Thunderbird is a mozilla product, there is no sign to the different products seen on the page I was transferred to.

Any other producer of products present the dufferent products of it's portfolio to allow to separate the questions of their users - not so mozilla. Instead there seems to be a strong hype to view ways to other kinds of communication outside the computer - social media may be an important part, but that's not what I as a user of a PC have in my mind - especially when I search for help.
The bundling to too much different alternative com ways binds too many ressources, which means that fundamental problems cannot be solved in time.

And at the result, the company falls further and further behind it's main issues: to make the existing platforms run stable, secure and fast.
This is not the way to treat the users well, but it will be the way to loose them and give them no choice but going back to ... you surely know who.
