iOS app update feedback

Making moves

Another day, another pointless UI update to an app I use constantly. Why did the tab button get moved? Go and try it now: it’s far less comfortable to access. The settings icon being on the far right side where it is less frequently accessed makes far more sense. And the new animations for tabs feel awful. Lacking in nice feeling easing in the transitions, they need a lot of refinement. What, exactly, is this new UI supposed to even improve? Getting so tired of this stuff being forced on us users and having zero say in it or ability to make changes. Feels like the developers aren’t even using their own app and just making changes for change’s sake

Are you using Firefox, or Safari-Firefox?

I agree. The order of the tabs is very strange, settings should be in the corner for convenience. All apps have settings in the corner, this is confusing.

Further more, on iPhone 15 Pro Max, there now is s disturbing amount of padding under the buttons and above the address bar. This takes away from available browser space and is annoying.

Personally I really hate the animations, usually I turn them off if I get the opportunity, however I cannot find an option for that. Changing tabs is now a chore.

I use the address bar on top, and don't like that now the choice between private, normal tabs and synchronization is at the bottom, it makes way more sense to me at the top
