Incensed you add Google search despite settings

I go to great lenths to avoid any and all Google use- yet your latest iteration has a secondary Google search bar with all of its attendant spyware mandated. Okay, lesson learned, can no longer trust Firefox as a browser

Is the problem on Windows/Mac/Linux, or one of the mobile versions?

I assume you already changed your default search engine to one you prefer. This article has the steps: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/change-your-default-search-settings-firefox

That should apply to all of the search bars. Is there one that doesn't fix?
