I have nothing against innovation! But why must you change for the sake of changing?

The latest Firefox number 153, doesn't allow the configurations that we - the people who USE it - need!

Namely setting a font size that allows us to SEE. I had to revert to Firefox 152 after spending DAYS searching for a solution, only to discover that F. 153 doesn't allow userChrome configurations, namely  the font size of the user's interface.

Why on earth must you make everything SO difficult? Why not have a menu, a button, a slider, or at least some line in about:config to choose the size that we NEED? Not everyone is a shortsighted youngster!

I am 70, I started using computers in the 1980s and I need glasses! Can't read small fonts!

Another problem is theme configuration: even if you try to build your own theme, the background for the bookmarks' popup can only be set to black - or white! Why not grey? Or any other color?

Do what you have to do as far as security is concerned - and you do it well, I know - but please leave the appearance as it is, or at least make it configurable because this is a TOOL and you can't change the shape or the way tools work just for the sake of changing. I've spent years to have my computer configured as I want, so that it performs according to my needs. What do you have to gain in making people's life more difficult?

My sentiments exactly.  This is horrible and frustrating.  I am 81 and I was happy with how it was - and not at all happy now!

it really seems like the people at firefox don't like having a working, accessible product anymore. each new update is cutting people out of firefox by making firefox unusable for them. People have been saying for MONTHS how the android update is discriminatory against the one-handed (which as a app, one handed use should be accounted for and expected even if one handed people are not that common) and firefox has made it clear they don't care! This is getting into class-action lawsuit territory tbh. They won't care of their own accord, someone needs to cue them into compliance.
