@xrude72fu : Firefox is free: if you don't like it, Brave, Edge, Opera or Vivaldi all exist as major alternatives (or Safari, if you have a Mac).  Plus, unless you're using a Linux distro, Firefox doesn't come pre-installed on Windows 11 or 10, or macOS systems, so you would have intentionally chosen it at some-point?

Web-browsers will always get updates: as they are one of the main apps people use to connect to the Internet, they need regular-updates for security.  If your post here is not-liking the recent rounded UI changes, download the "ESR" from here: https://www.firefox.com/download/all/desktop-esr/

That is a version of Firefox aimed at business users and only gets major UI changes around once a year; between that, you just get security-issues fixed.  Or there are "forks" of Firefox you could look into, such as Basilisk, Floorp, Librewolf, Pale Moon, Waterfox or Zen.  Just be aware they are maintained by smaller teams, and it may take longer for security fixes to get added to them.

Bonjour

To complement, this discussion thread.

To avoid issues, it's best to install Firefox 153 ESR in a different directory.

Dedicated profiles per Firefox installation
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/dedicated-profiles-firefox-installation

This is my case.

Some users have multiple installations of Firefox, each in separate program folders. Firefox uses a dedicated profile for each installation of Firefox, including Nightly, Beta, Developer Edition and Extended Support Release (ESR) installations. This makes Firefox more stable when switching between installations on the same computer, and also allows you to run different Firefox installations at the same time.

I'm largely with you. The updates are far too frequent. Every week to two weeks is JUST TOO MUCH. I would gladly update every couple of months or longer, but the notice for update covers critical links on certain web sites, and doing an update means forfeiting a couple of hours of my time. Moreover, your updates haven't solve the problem that I keep getting told my browser is out of date (probably because I keep Windows 7). I like to wait to update, so you have time to find bugs from users, but the way you compel them precludes that. If I refuse the update several times, you HIJACK my browser, no matter what I am in the middle of, and force me to close and re-open. This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. So every time you force an update, I lose functionality, and the price for immediately accepting is just too high. Give us updates, but make the frequency reasonable, for heaven's sake!

Related subject, anyway, Firefox 115 browser is out of date, obsolète.
