I use Firefox because it is backed by a non-profit foundation like yours that aims to keep the internet free. Your browser is absolutely great at ad blocking and privacy, but it is unfortunately weak when it comes to RAM usage.
In my side-by-side tests, browsers like Brave and Helium use around 650-700 MB, while Firefox consumes 1.5 GB of RAM with the same tabs open. My request is that you optimize the RAM usage to match these browsers. If you take this feedback seriously and solve the memory consumption, users will start loving this browser even more, because low RAM usage provides a smooth experience on low-end systems and prevents unnecessary strain on high-end systems.
I truly want Firefox to optimize its RAM usage, catch up with these browsers, and become a leader in this area just as it is in most others. You can also check the attached Task Manager comparison screenshot.
