I found this problem with Firefox has existed for a long time, and no change to the issue has occured with all the Firefox updates.
== The Issue ==
When using Firefox on Google Maps, in particular the Map feature to "Add a missing place" or "Suggest an edit". The "Add" selection is found in a right-click menu when the cursor is on the map, and the "Suggest" selection button is located in the left column panel showing the information about a specific map entry (for most map entries).
When making either entry, a pop-up occurs, and we change the map entry information or fill in the boxes, etc.
The problem occurs when trying to save the new entry, whether Firefox has extensions or not, the entry fails to save or won't respond at all. It is like a dead function, nothing happens, nothing completes, like it us suppose to.
This occurs most of the time. The odd time, it works, but that is very inconsistent.
The only way to use the Google Map entry addition or edit feature is to use Chrome, then all works fine with Chrome.
As I said, this has been a consistent problem for a few years now, despite all the Firefox updates.
Firefox is not able to allow full function with the Google Map entry.
