I have been battling with browsing In Firefox for well....ever since you guys changed everything, a couple years back. Constantly running out of memory with only 3 or 4 tabs open, to the point of crashing my whole computer and having to do a reboot, the loss of Data, plus the pure frustration of losing patience with how slow everything was. It was not unusual for pages to take many minutes to load, and often involved numerous lockups and reloads.
Now I admit..my poor old Laptop Is not top of the line..but Its a decent machine, running Windows 11...and was really struggling
Last week, I finally had enough so I did a Google for Firefox Alternatives, and the AI recommended a browser called Brave
I installed it...easy peasy..few very minor problems at the start, basically learning where everything was, as some things are slightly different and as Ive used Firefox for 10 years or more, there was a very small learning curve.
Finally..up n running..bookmarks imported easy..passwords saved easy..and browsing like a ROCKET
Ive put up with over 2 years of pure frustration hoping you guys would fix the memory problems and nope...but you added other rubbish and never even looked at the obvious memory problems Firefox has.
I gave you more than a fair go and enough time to recognize problems and yet, you did NOTHING...
Well..Youre DONE..Brave Is a WONDERFUL Browser...Its Is super fast, optimizes memory on the fly, and does everything I need it to do plus more...
No more clunky extensions..NoScript and Adblocker are built in...and It runs perfectly and optimises as It goes..
My machine has never run better and browsing Is once again a PLEASURE..pages open quicker than I can blink
You guys really should take a look at Brave. You might actually learn something....Get rid of all your rubbish and fix Firefox..otherwise it wont be long before you become redundant. Youve installed so much shytt In Firefox..It runs like a 20 tonne dozer being pulled by a draft horse.

I highly reccomend the BRAVE Browser...and that people get rid of clunky old memory hogging Firefox and reclaim your browsing Pleasure..
