EVERY TIME I try to search on this forum for anything about Firefox, I get a query asking if I meant Firefox or Firebox as well as any terms part of search. What has Firebox to do with 99% of Firefox search term issues? This is infuriating! I hadn’t even heard of Firebox until this problem, so must be off the radar for 95%+ of forum members. Of course this means I have to verify that Firefox is indeed what I meant. But even when I did that, even the most minor change in the search query, one letter even, and must again verify it’s within Firefox topics that is the main reason for making a search. Arghhhhh!!!
What is so important about Firebox that this must happen???

Can't repro it. Does that also happen in Troubleshoot mode (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode)?

That does sound annoying. I’ve had the same issue when searching for the chipotle menu and random stuff shows up instead. A good search should just give what you ask for.

I’ve run into similar false suggestions before—it feels like the search algorithm is too eager to autocorrect. Would be great if Firefox could prioritize known product terms over unrelated matches like "Firebox."
