I have just installed Firefox on a new iMac, running MacOS 15.2. Firefox will not load any of the websites I have tried, whereas Safari and Chrome do. I have cleared the History and also set "No proxy" but loading still fails.
I am having to post this issue using Safari, as Firefox will not even load https://ideas.mozilla.org.
This problem has become a real concern to me, as I have come to rely on a number of Firefox and have numerous useful websites bookmarked, so I would very much appreciate a solution. Thanks in advance.

Problem solved, by pure chance! In the process of fixing an unrelated issue, I had to install Apple's Rosetta software (my previous iMac was rather old: 2013). When I next checked Firefox, it was working as normal, so the problem must have been compatibility-related.

Hi Paul,
Replying to the question you emailed, "Is there any error message shown?", no, the dot to the left of the tab name goes side-to-side for a while the stops, leaving a sand-timer icon but the pane remains blank.
Thanks - Colin

Firefox on my old mac with Ventura also fails to load any webpages, although other browers work fine. Can you explain - did you install Rosetta and then Firefox worked? If so how do I get Rosetta?

Relying on my memory (?!?) a popup appeared, telling me that I needed Rosetta to convert from one architecture to another (my description) and giving me an ‘Install’ button. I clicked and Rosetta did the trick. My quick search just now came up with: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/102527 - hope it helps - Colin
