I would love to see an option in the Firefox Multi-Account Containers add-on that would enable hiding or disabling the menu item for "Sort Tabs by Container".
The reason is that if you accidentally click that when trying to click one of the items next to it instead, it causes a complete reorg of your tabs, which is a major pain if you have say... 500 tabs open in various containers and tab groups.

I have the exact same issue. Accidentally sorting hundreds of tabs is very annoying, especially considering that I don't need the sorting feature in the first place.

Maybe deleting the "ctrl + comma" shortcut will resolve this problem:
about:addon(Settings, Add-ons and themes) > Extensions > Gear Icon at right-top(Tools for all add-ons)
> Manage Extension Shortcuts > Firefox Multi-Account Containers > Ctrl+Comma > Click Trash Bin icon

Hi @diyism thanks for the suggestion, but my shortcuts are already cleared.
The real place that I have a problem is accidentally selecting this option from the tool bar.
