Wanted to submit some feedback for the new UI changes specifically for android Firefox beta. The new shape of the grid boxes (rectangular now instead of square) doesn't add any benefit that I can see, and in fact makes it harder for me to see what's in my tabs. With the square shape more tabs could fit on my screen, the rectangles just decrease the amount I can see with no added benefit. It actually makes it harder to even see the name of the tab, as they seem far smaller than the non-beta app. It would be good to at least have this as an optional change. Seeing what all my tabs are is far more important than seeing a larger section of the page.
In a similar vein, while I've gotten used to it I also feel like the new settings menu removes utility. I use the 'open in app' button frequently, and having it buried in a 'more' section adds extra clicks unnecessarily with very little added to the functionality of the app. I like that it pops up from the bottom and is larger, but users are very used to scrolling to find things like settings. Burying things with more clicks makes it more difficult to find useful function. It may just be me, but I find the history button to be in a very unintuitive place as well.
Thank you
