Firefox AI how it work under the hood..?

Making moves

Privacy base browser that have AI like DDG browser and brave kinda have similar features about Firefox Ai, but what I dont see is how this firefox AI works. Duck.ai and Leo brave are middle man base AI that remove identifiers like IP or more and only send the promt to a Big LLM like gpt 4, Gemini, cloude and more. And base of my research I still haven't see a fully explanation of how the Firefox.AI works.? Base of the mozilla article about its AI.

"Firefox is expanding its AI-powered features, all designed to keep your data private. We believe technology should serve you, not monitor you. Our team understands the importance of privacy, especially as AI rapidly integrates into our daily lives. "

" Firefox protects your privacy by running AI models directly on your device, ensuring your sensitive data remains local. "

And this to

"Unlike browsers that impose proprietary solutions, Firefox allows you to select your preferred AI chatbot provider directly in the sidebar. You’re free to explore and switch between AI chatbots at any time. You can also remove downloaded AI models anytime from the on-device model management screen."

So in short, that AI built-in on the firefox browser use Big name LLM...? Does the big name LLM still get promt or details summaries about the page I click...? Isn't that much dangerous than normal promt..? If so why they doing it..? For sure mozilla have reason because I trust firefox of all browser, i hope mozilla dont get blander move

Those link and information you suggest is how to use the AI features not how they collect or how they share data with 3rd party like gpt, Gemini, cloude. But thanks for those link it help alot but still didn't answer some of my questions. If those AI features are safe for privacy or just for convenience...?
