Once again, Firefox in their ultimate wisdom have broken the ability for us users to just click a link in a blank search bar and go to that site. I.e. I have a link to Amazon but now unless I have either a blank space or text in the Search Bar, nothing happens. This was found in FF127 and there was a fix that worked up until FF139.
I am hoping that the brains at GitHub find a solution to this problem. The solution from 12/8/24 (8/12/24 for my non-US friends) is still on my machine, but seems to be either blocked or ignored.
If a solution is found like either on GitHub or Reddit, please post the link so we can go back to business as normal.
