I’ve noticed some slowdown on Linux too recently, especially with heavier sites and multiple tabs open. In my case, disabling a few extensions and turning off hardware acceleration actually helped a lot.
It might also help to test Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to see whether an add-on or GPU driver issue is causing it. Linux performance can vary quite a bit depending on the desktop environment and graphics drivers being used.
