Enabling DNS over HTTPS often slows down Waterfox(Use provider: custom; Custom: https://dns.alidns.com/dns-query), but it have never happend in Firefox.
It won't happen if you just enabled DNS over HTTPS, but Waterfox needs a lot of time to load a new page after a period of time.
